I was delighted to speak alongside the magnificent Antonia Honeywell, author of The Ship, for The Writer’s Toolbelt Podcast, hosted by Andy Chamberlain. He approached us at the recent Gollanczfest thinking that we’d make for a good natter combination, and sure enough we did.
There are some striking similarities between book three in the Kenstibec trilogy, Rig, and Antonia’s novel (huge cruise ships for one), though they couldn’t be much more different in tone and style. Here we discuss how to get your writing done in a house containing children, how to deal with life post-publication, our influences and future works. It was a really interesting chat and hopefully well worth one or two of your valuable moments for a listen.
This is great! Can’t believe I missed it the first time around…
