Steeple: 4 stars and heaps of blogs

Steeple received a 4 stars review from The Sun in April, I’m thrilled to say. The review said:

“The action is tense, the violence gruesome but compelling and the science fiction engaging. In other words, it’s every bit as good as its predecessor.”

Boom!

Meanwhile in March I put together a whole heap of articles for the Gollancz blog to celebrate the smaller, cheaper “mass market” paperback of Steeple coming out, so I thought I’d list them here:

Large-Steeple--668x1024Six Standout SciFi Skyscrapers of the Screen – I look at six of the best monolithic dystopia towers from the movies, and invite votes on the blog and on Twitter – in each case Blade Runner’s Tyrell corporation won by a landslide.

High Rise Review – I was lucky enough to attend an advance screening of Ben Wheatley’s Ballard adaptation at the BFI. Here’s what I thought about this  tale of madness in tall buildings.

Kenstibec’s driving test– I had some fun creating road signs for the ruined highways of post apocalyptic Britain in Barricade and Steeple. Check them out here.

Barricade, part 1 in the Kenstibec series, is only £4.50 on Kindle at the moment. Part 2, Steeple is £6.
